Refuel With Some DAM GOOD Coffee While Biking aroundLA
Dam Good Coffee: Perfect Place For a Quick Stop While Out for a Bike Ride aroundLA
As a lifestyle blogger who promotes an active lifestyle aroundLA, I regularly ride my bike to Dam Good Coffee, a hidden gem in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles located off San Vincente Blvd. It's the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee on the go, especially if you're commuting by bike. The owner, Josh, is almost always there greeting everyone pleasantly, making the experience even more enjoyable.
It may be my short attention span, but I wouldn’t say you should try to do anything that requires focus while there. It’s a neighborhood coffee shop with locals constantly passing by with their dogs, child, significant other, or just taking a stroll alone. And everyone wants to talk! Any one of my girlfriends could tell you I’m a very social person, but goodness, not when my face is in a book! Haha. The community spirit of the coffee shop is definitely to be appreciated.
While Dam Good Coffee is not the best place to get work done, it is the best place for a hot chai tea latte. (I kid you not, chai tea lattes from Starbucks taste like mop water in comparison. I hop, skip, and jump over multiple Starbucks locations, as well as other coffee shops, to go to Dam Good Coffee when I have my mouth fixed for a chai latte.)
It's a great spot for a quick pick-me-up. With limited seating, including only two barstools at the counter inside, a bench and some tables lining the sidewalk outside, most patrons grab their coffee and go. Despite the small space, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The coffee menu is short and specialized, making it easier for those who have difficulty choosing.
If you're looking for a laid-back coffee shop with great coffee, Dam Good Coffee is a must-visit. And if you're a cyclist, the location is perfect, with a clearly defined bike lane on San Vincente Blvd.
The owner of Dam Good Coffee is passionate about coffee and always happy to chat with customers about their coffee preferences. The shop offers a small but carefully curated selection of coffee drinks, including espressos and lattes. You can also find a few pastries and snacks, making it a great place to stop for a quick breakfast.
Overall, Dam Good Coffee is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. While it may not be the best place to get work done or to sit and relax for hours, it's the perfect spot to grab a quick cup of coffee on the go, especially if you're commuting by bike. If you live in the Miracle Mile neighborhood, or even next door in Mid-City Los Angeles, you may become a regular here too!
If you’re not located nearby, next time you're even remotely close, you should swing by Dam Good Coffee to experience this DAM GOOD coffee for yourself. And for more biking adventures and other exciting places to explore aroundLA, follow @aroundLAwithTK on Instagram.
